SF–001 / Flow automation

Duplicate follow-up tasks

Scope and observation

One illustrative case workflow and its agreed test scenarios. Two eligible updates produce two tasks because the tested path does not check for a qualifying existing task.

Evidence

Test update A: one task created. Test update B on the same case: a second task created. Expected behavior: one valid follow-up task.

Impact and priority

Duplicate work enters the queue. Frequency, business impact, and priority must be established with the customer; this example assigns no severity score.

Recommended action

Agree eligibility and task-creation rules. Review all relevant automation paths and concurrency concerns. Implement and validate a duplicate-prevention approach in the agreed scope.

Acceptance criteria

  • One eligible case creates one task.
  • Repeated updates create no additional task.
  • Ineligible cases create no task.
  • Exception and regression scenarios pass.

Coverage boundary

Other automation paths, production frequency, permissions, and transaction behavior require explicit investigation. The assessment does not authorize production changes.
